The Bislimi Group Foundation is very happy to announce that it recently signed an Academic Cooperation Agreement with Northwestern Polytechnic University in Fremont, California. The Agreement came to life after successful exchanges between the founder and president of TBG Foundation, Mr. Faton Bislimi, and representatives of NPU, including Mr. Barry Bishop, in charge of International Students at NPU. Based on this Agreement, NPU has become an Education for Peace Scholarship Program host university. NPU will offer EFP Scholarships to a total of five students this academic year (2010/11), three for undergraduate studies and two for graduate/MBA studies. "Coming onboard the Education for Peace Scholarship Program and offering our qualified Kosovar students the opportunity to earn an American education in California is an important contribution to our mission and an act for which the Northwestern Polytechnic University deserves much praise," said Mr Bislimi of the TBG Foundation. He added that beyond its financial value, NPU's decision to host EFP students has educational and societal values, too. NPU is an accredited university based in Fremont, California. It was founded in 1984. NPU's Bachelor's, Master's and Doctoral Degree Programs are designed to prepare students for the practice of engineering, computer science, and business administration at a professional level. In addition to courses teaching the fundamentals, each degree curriculum is designed to be connected to Silicon Valley's major industries in electronics, computer engineering, information technology, enterprise management, and global business development. If you are interested to apply for one of the EFP Scholarships available at NPU this year, please check back this site for more details or email us at scholarships@bislimi.org
