New Ambassador of Canada to Zagreb and non-resident Ambassador to Prishtina, H.E. Louise LaRocque and Consul Bill McCrimmon held a meeting with representatives of the Bislimi Group Foundation in Prishtina, Kosovo.
Halit Bislimi, Executive Director along with Drenusha Bislimi, Finance and Development Coordinator as well as Dafina Abazi, Administrator of the Canadian International School in Kosovo, represented the Foundation at this meeting.
TBG Foundation representatives thanked Ambassador LaRocque and Consul McCrimmon for the continuous support the Canadian Embassy in Zagreb has provided the Foundation and its Canadian-oriented initiatives and programs. The Canadian guests were also informed about the establishment of the Canadian International School in Kosovo, as an ESL centre promoting English learning as well as Canada as a great education destination for foreign students.
"It was our pleasure to work with Ambassador Loughlin, now retired, and we look forward to working with you as well," said Mr Bislimi. Ambassador LaRocque was pleased to learn more about the TBG Foundation and its programs. She expressed her willingness to support the Foundation's work in all possible ways.
Both parties agreed to continue to work together in search of other means and venues through which this cooperation can be even more fruitful in the future.
